A WOMAN has shared the easy way she transformed her children’s shared bedroom into two separate, unique spaces.
So if your kids share a room but you want to give them their own space, you’ll need to listen up quickly.
Cassie Donald explained that she knocked down a walk-in wardrobe and built a dividing wall, to give her children their own space.
And what started out as a very plain, grey bedroom, shared by a young boy and a girl, was quickly overhauled, into two personalised rooms.
Posting on social media, the mother shared her clip with the caption: “Splitting one large room into two smaller rooms…”
She then explained: “When they ask for their own bedrooms…
“So you pull down the walk-in wardrobe and put in a dividing wall.
“Opened up a doorway in the hall.
“Voila…two bedrooms.”
Cassie shared a variety of images throughout the transformation process, as she continued: “Plastered and painted. Carpet and finishes back on.
“One bed built. Bedroom one complete.
“More plaster and built in wardrobe done. And bedroom two is complete.”
As she proudly showed off her children’s new rooms, she shared: “All last minute painting done and we have two completed bedrooms!”
Cassie’s son was given a cool Cars bedroom, perfect for any car-loving kid, while her daughter was thrilled with a super cute pink space complete with unicorns and all of her favourite toys.
Cassie’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @cassdon93, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 114,700 views.
It has 5,444 likes, 75 comments, 242 saves and 92 shares.
