Millions of students will be gearing up to head to university next month – and whether you're returning for another year or just starting your degree, there are a few essentials you'll need to bring with you.
As well as all your study materials, if you're moving into student accommodation or sharing with coursemates this September you will need some bits and pieces for your new household too. This includes making sure you have everything you need to rustle up your own meals in the kitchen – but rather than making a long shopping list of cookware and utensils, it may be easier to snap up a bundle of everything you'll need in one go.

Argos shoppers have praised the set, giving it an overall rating of 4.1 out of five stars based on over 250 reviews. A total of 87% of customers also said they would recommend the product after buying it and trying it out for themselves.
One person said: "I bought several packs of these for a university and was very pleased with the content – everything was packaged well and all in perfect condition. Good value compared with other retailers and knife set was handy – you don't always get these in kitchen packs. Obviously not a lifetime guarantee product but very good for the price."
And another impressed customer said: "This starter set contains everything a uni student needs right down to the wooden spoon. Housemates are making good use of the the utensils too and when it comes to washing up they are easy to clean which in my view is a bonus."
Someone else wrote: "Bought the set as a flat-warming gift and was really pleased with the quality. Also a very good selection of kitchen things you need but never think of."
However, the set did not win everyone over, with a small percentage of shoppers feeling that the quality could be improved. One person reported that the pans "rusted within three months", while someone else said the non-stick coating was "all coming off after a week", so it may be best best suited to short-term or occasional use.
Alternatively, serious chefs can opt for the 50 Piece Non Stick Kitchen Starter Set from Argos, which is priced at £60 and comes with extra pans and utensils as well as a whisk, grater, egg cups, measuring jug and storage canisters. This set has the same rating of 4.1 out of five stars based on just under 400 reviews, with 86% of shoppers saying they would recommend it.
Deals website Wowcher is also offering a similar set for just £30.99, reduced from £49.99.
