CHENNAI : For carrying out maintenance work, power supply will be suspended by Tangedco on Wednesday from 9 am to 4 pm. In a statement by Tangedco, areas of Porur, Thiruverkadu, Vysarpadi, and Sembium will face power cut which will be restored after 4 pm if work is completed. The areas that will face power shutdown are —Porur: Santhosh Nagar, Subbaiyah Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Lalitha Nagar, Thirumoortthy Nagar, Rajeswari Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Madha Nagar, Bangala Thoppu, Mugalivakkam Main Road, MRK Nagar, VND Avenue and Maxworth Nagar.
Thiruverkadu: Part of Thiruverkadu, Thiruverkadu Co-Op Nagar, Theroodum Veethi Sivan Koil Road, Sundaracholapuram, Kasturi Bai Nagar, Aravind Nagar, Kamadenu Nagar, Pallikupam, Mathiravedu, PH Road, Kaveri Nagar, Ishwarya Garden, Jayalakshmi Nagar, Royal Garden, Mac Nagar, Lourdupuram, Puliambedu Road, VGN Mahalakshmi Nagar, Rajankuppam and Ponniaman Nagar.
Vyasarpadi: South Telephone Colony, North Telephone Colony, Padmavathi Nagar, Majestic Avenue, Venu Nagar, Perumalkoil 1 st Street, Mandavaeli, Venkateshvara Nagar, Telugu Colony, AVM Nagar, Vasantham Avenue, Ramana Avenue, Ganesh Nagar and Ramachandar Nagar.Sembium: Padmavathi Nagar, Lakshmi Kanthammal Nagar, Sri Lakshiamman Nagar, RC Flats, Thirumal Nagar, Vijayalakshmi Nagar, Surapet Main Road, Thirumal Nagar, Velmurugan Nagar, Grace Nagar, and Kamaraj Nagar Extn.
