originally initiated by brand naber, the modular furniture system featured at maison et objet by bureau kilian schindler envisions a kitchen that removes its ties to a specific room. users can assemble their very own personal cooking workshop wherever; situate the flexible system into an open studio space or within a concept garden. the framework can be completely adapted to one’s lifestyle, going beyond the traditional functionality as a cooking area with expandable modules.
whether as an island solution or in combination with a traditional kitchen range, the objects can be arranged as desired. the mobile kitchen system is based on five modules: work surface with integrated range, sink, butcher block, storage rack and technology tower. the stainless steel base elements can be easily dis-assembled and feature grid holes for positioning the structural panels and shelves. a simple plug-and-play design allows for easy assembly and dis-assembly without the use of tools.
