Before you get started, you should dab a small amount of white vinegar on a corner of the moss you are looking to nix. This helps you figure out how diluted to make the vinegar. In large moss clumps, you may need to use plain vinegar.

Next, cover the entire affected area with vinegar.
Let it sit for about one hour, then come back with a brush to firmly scrub the moss away. The vinegar will have made it easy to break up.
