Rochdale AFC Community Trust and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing have joined together to bring a Workwear Wardrobe to the Crown Oil Arena.
The initiative has been set up for those individuals who want to make a good first impression in job interviews but are struggling with the cost of living crisis.
The wardrobe consists of smart business and smart casual attire, and we are giving the people of Rochdale a chance to come down and wear something from the wardrobe to help to showcase themselves.
It’s not just interview attire. We have also had donations of workwear, from hi-vis jackets to work boots, thanks to Rochdale Borough Council Work and Skills, for those who might be new to working within construction.

We are always welcoming donations of workwear. We would hugely appreciate any smart business attire (such as suits, skirts, trousers, dresses, tops, blouses, etc), smart casual attire, shoes/boots and jackets/coats.
We also have our Internet Café in Our Spot Community Hub at the Crown Oil Arena, for those who want to use the internet to help them gain employment.
It is open from 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday, and is free for all to access. Internet access is free for things such as writing CVs for job applications, with access to Microsoft Office, to improving digital skills.
For more information on any of the above, please email scott.webster@rochdaleafc.co.uk or call on 07591834516.
