A DIY whizz has revealed how she built a custom walk-in wardrobe using bargain IKEA buys – and people have been left stunned at how easy she made it look.
Anja took to TikTok to show how, rather than forking out on a pricey wardrobe, she instead turned a blank wall into a custom storage unit for her clothes and accessories.
She did this using two cheap IKEA wall rails and a shelf – both of which cost her just £17.
Known online as @anja_mr, she regularly shares life updates and home hacks with her 1,100 followers.
In a new reel, she said: “Build my open wall wardrobe with me.”
During the 18-second video, Anja is first seen drilling two four holes into her wall, before securing her two MULIG clothes bars in place.
She then moves on to installing the LACK wall shelf, which she places a few inches above the clothes rails.
Below both, she has one of the six-drawer MALM dressers to hold the rest of her belongings, as well as a five-storey shelving unit.
At the end of the video, Anjia reveals what it looks like with all her belongings in place.
The shelf at the top holds her bags, while all her clothes are neatly hung in a colour-coded order.
On the shelf next to her DIY wardrobe, she’s arranged all her shoes.
Shoppers can pick up the MULIG clothes bars online and in-store for just £5 each, while the LACK shelf will set them back £12.
The same MALM dresser is also still in stock, priced at £165.
TikTokkers loved her crafty idea, with the video gaining more than 49,600 likes and 841,700 views.

In the comments, DIY fans shared their reactions, with one writing: “Goals.”
“this is great for a room with no closet,” commented another.
A third added: “Thank you for this !!!”
Someone else put: “Would never take an open wardrobe again, because of dust etc., but it just looks good.”
