Over the years, Apple has made significant changes to how to customize wallpapers on iPhones. Currently, you can create wallpapers in pairs for both the home screen and lock screen of your iPhone. You can also add widgets to wallpapers and automatically activate a Focus mode when specific lock screens are in use.
Unfortunately, these features are somewhat difficult to use, and the process of deleting a wallpaper is confusing. This guide will help alleviate that confusion and make doing so a breeze
An iPhone with iOS 16 or iOS 17
Ever since iOS 16 was released, Apple has included a highly customizable feature that allows you to personalize the look of your home and lock screens. This feature, not loved by all, offers a variety of built-in backgrounds, and you can import images as well. Once you’ve created your desired wallpaper combinations, they can be accessed under the Wallpaper feature in the iPhone Settings app. However, this isn’t where you go to delete those wallpaper combinations.
To delete a wallpaper on your iPhone, you’ll need to use the phone’s long-press feature and follow additional instructions.
Step 1: To get started, lock your phone. The easiest way to do so is by pressing on the side button (on newer iPhones) or the top button (on older models).
Step 2: With your iPhone locked, long press on the home screen.
Step 3: From this screen, go back and forth and see the installed wallpapers. Choose the one you wish to delete.
Step 4: Swipe up, then tap the delete icon. Confirm by tapping Delete This Wallpaper.
Deleting a wallpaper on your iPhone requires following a few simple steps that starts with locking your phone. Once you do this, you’ll be done in just a few minutes.
It’s November, which means it’s Diabetes Awareness Month, with World Diabetes Day recently happening on November 14. According to data from the Apple Heart and Movement Study (AHMS) and Apple Women’s Health Study (AWHS), there are about 537 million adults worldwide who are currently living with diabetes, with that number potentially reaching 643 million by 2030. In the U.S. alone, about two out of five people will develop diabetes in their lifetime, and more than one in three adults have elevated glucose levels that put them in the pre-diabetes zone.
I was pre-diabetic since my college years (it runs in both sides of my family), but then my doctor officially diagnosed me with Type 2 diabetes around early 2018. However, I was told that my case was more “mild” than others and that taking some medication — while also cutting out carbs and sweets, plus daily exercise — can help me keep it under control.
If you have blocked a phone number on your iPhone and wish to unblock it, you can easily do so in just a few steps. This can be helpful if you’ve accidentally blocked a number you didn’t mean to, have made up with an ex, made good with a friend you were having a dispute with, or in other circumstances.
Whether you have an iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, or an older version, the steps to unblock a number are the same.

When Apple launched the original iPhone in 2007, it was as easy as could be — it was just the iPhone. There was only one model, and when you said you wanted an iPhone, the sales rep would know which one you meant … because that was all there was.
