A physiotherapist who previously ran a wedding cake business on the side has swapped icing cakes for slicing lemons.
Sofia Hancy, 28, who lives in Beccles, started Sofia’s Kitchen when she was 18 and at university.
The bookings took off for her wedding cakes, which led to her converting her garage into a kitchen.
However, personal circumstances meant that she had to increase her hours for her full-time job as a physiotherapist last year.

Miss Hancy said: “Wedding cakes are a labour of love and I couldn’t keep it up without burning out at work.”
So last summer she decided to pivot Sofia’s Kitchen and purchase a trailer, which she has converted into a premium lemonade bar to go to events across East Anglia.

It offers 10 different flavours, ranging from the Classic Cloudy to a Coconut Colada with added coconut milk and pineapple juice.

Video clips of the renovation on TikTok have had hundreds of thousands of views.
She added: “I still had contacts in the wedding and events industry and have kept the Sofia’s Kitchen brand but just changed direction.
“Many mobile bars locally offer coffee or alcohol, but this is something different.”
