Just because you are a fashion designer it doesn’t mean that everything you wear will fit impeccably, as Victoria Beckham showed in a pic shared with fans
Victoria Beckham suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction before she ventured out for New Year's celebrations.
The 49-year-old shared a photo of herself dressed up for New Year's Eve before revealing that she was suffering a wardrobe malfunction that would need some help to put back to rights. Sharing the snaps on her Instagram Stories, Victoria showed the actions that needed to be taken after her dress was full of creases.
Speaking to the camera, Victoria told her 32.5 million followers: "So, I'm just getting ready to go out tonight and there's a last-minute steaming situation going on here – it's getting hot up there." Victoria then panned her camera down to the floor where she showed that there is a woman on her knees with a steamer so that she could sort out the creases on the green gown.
It is not recommended that a steamer is taken to a dress while still being worn and Victoria was pleased that a professional was on hand to ensure it was fabric and not her skin feeling the force of the hot steamer as the wrinkles were removed. Victoria later shared another video which showed her looking resplendent in her immaculate emerald green dress, which is from her fashion collection.
Speaking to the camera, she told her followers: "So, I am just getting ready to go out tonight and I'm wearing my favourite dress – my emerald green jersey dress. Happy New Year, everyone!"
Victoria was not the only one heading out that night as there was a cameo appearance from her husband David Beckham, who was looking as dapper as ever in a suit ahead of their New Year's Eve partying. This came after David had shared that they had been enjoying lunch out with Victoria's parents, and trolled them over riding in their Rolls Royce to the meal.
The caption poked fun at fashion designer Victoria Beckham's previous claims about her working-class upbringing, in an amusing post reading: "Just a nice casual New Year's Eve lunch at The Ritz @victoriabeckham. Very working class. My mother and father-in-law left in there Roll's [Royce]."
In the four-part Netflix docu-series about the Beckhams, Victoria told the interviewer: "Both of our parents worked really hard," before making an assertion that clearly made her ex-footballer spouse see the funny side as she continued, before adding something that made David chuckle: "We're very, very working class."
